Pallet Sales

Tracey Timber Recycling accept many thousands of pallets each year which are graded according to quality and size and then selected for a number of applications.

In line with the waste hierarchy, which places re-use above recycling, we endeavour to recover all waste pallets which can be viably repaired for re-sale.

Pallets are then graded and stocked before being sold on to several local customers. Although the pallets are sold as second hand, many of them have only been used on one or two trips and in some cases are not dissimilar in appearance to new pallets.

Another advantage of utilising second hand pallets is for those company's obligated under the Producer Responsibility (Packaging Waste) Regulations 1997, who do not have to declare these pallets as part of their obligation.
